Sandra Waterwood Acquah

Biological Sciences, KNUST.

Before I joined the niche, I never really understood the concept of personal branding and I honestly I thought it was overly hyped and rated.
But ever since I truly imbibed the concept of personal branding, I wake up everyday well, most days to be the best version of my self because whether I like to believe it or not I’m marketing a product and that product is me. It has given me a sense of distinction and influenced my perception.
Thank you YRNI and God bless you!

By the grace of God, things have really advanced as far as management and planning in life is concerned…
The love of God keeps growing stronger whenever I participate in any clinic organised by the group…. Seriously in all aspect of life both financially, spiritually and physically(time management) have had alot positive effects on me. Hoping to experience more relationship and financial talks on the network.

Despite the fact that most of our lessons aren’t new, they probably was just some common lessons to hear until joining this Young and Responsible leadership group… Real analysis and informed decisions about this lessons weren’t a thing but can now say though haven’t been that committed I’ve really improved especially taking certain decisions and being aware of self and surrounding taking key lessons from ” who moved my cheese “

The regular discussions on major topics of great concern, has helped me to grasp the depth of these topics. Having attended the recent leadership academy, I’ve be able to practically plan my life and take absolute charge of it( with God at the centre). Thanks to the network , I’ve made a few friends and I’m currently doing a Bible reading plan with one of them. Such a blessing! The monthly virtues upheld in high esteem by the academy, has helped me to have personal values in my life. I’m planning of doing a write-up for the monthly virtue one of these days!
I’m truly and indeed, young but responsible!

Joining the YRNI seemed to be a no-brainer for me because I used to see flyers of their virtual programmes during the lockdown and they all seemed interesting.
I asked a friend to let the leaders of the group to add me to the WhatsApp platform so I can also benefit from the programmes. A leader from the team texted me and sent me the vision of the group with all that I wanted to sign up for.
It felt awkward in the beginning because that wasn’t something I expected.
I later realised that the YRNI meant business and there was no playing around.I knew from the onset that it would be an avenue for continuous growth and I have not been disappointed a bit. The Leadership Academy that recently ended was a real eye-opener for me and has challenged me to be very conscious of what I use my life for and that many other people benefit from my decisions, directly or indirectly.
I have improved significantly in the past few months.

Joining this network has been a lot of blessing to me personally. Through this network, I have learnt to believe in myself more and I have also learnt to be responsible in everything I do or doing. I have learnt and still learning good habits, the right way of introducing myself, how to dress well, I have also learnt to chase my dreams with resilience, faith and courage and above all be confident in myself.

Through the various initiatives especially the just ended leadership academy, clinics and personal mentoring , I’ve gleaned a lot and witnessed tangible transformation. The concepts of self leadership and personal effectiveness have empowered me to live a more productive life : I’ve learnt the proper way of setting and getting goals so that I can achieve personal growth. Through this , I am now able to lead myself better.
